MAGG

PI: Michele Fumagalli; Lead Scientist: Emma Lofthouse

The MUSE Analysis of Gas around Galaxies (MAGG) is a 106 hour Large Programme using MUSE at the Very Large Telescope to study the galaxy environment of strong absorption line systems in 28 high-redshift quasar fields for which high-dispersion spectroscopy from HIRES, UVES, and MIKE is available. To download the MUSE data visit the ESO archive.

MUDF

PI: Michele Fumagalli; Lead Scientist: Matteo Fossati

The MUSE Ultra Deep Field (MUDF) is a 300 hour Large Programme using MUSE at the Very Large Telescope to obtain one of the deepest IFU spectroscopic surveys of a single sky region where two bright quasars with UVES spectroscopy probe the intervening gas along the line of sight. This programme is also supported by an additional Large Programme (Co-PIs M. Fumagalli, M. Rafelski) using WFC3 on board of the Hubble Space Telescope to obtain the deepest NIR wide-field spectroscopic survey to date in a single pointing. To download the MUSE data, visit the ESO archive.

SLUG & CLOC

SLUG is a stochastic code for synthetic stellar photometry. To learn more and to download the code, visit the SLUG website. There, you'll also find CLOC a simpler stochastic code for when you want to go a billion times faster than SLUG.

HDLLS Sample

The HDLLS sample contains Lyman Limit Systems surveyed at high-dispersion with the HIRES, ESI, MIKE and MAGE spectrometers. To download the line lists and spectra, visit HDLLS website.

Hα3

An Hα narrow-band imaging survey of 959 galaxies selected from the HI Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA Survey (ALFALFA) in the Local and Coma Superclusters. For more information, visit the Hα3 website.
